In Kühtai, excellent training opportunities have also been created for Beach Volleyball. Apart from the positive effects, such as an improvement in oxygen uptake followed by the increase in haemoglobin mass after training, the High Altitude Training Centre offers a dreamlike mountain backdrop for your workout.

Amenities at the beach volleyball courts

The facility consists of two similar, parallel beach volleyball areas, each measuring 24m × 14m. This meets the requirements of international competition rules. Altogether, the training area is composed of about 680 square metres. The court dimensions are in accordance with the regulations 16m × 8 m. The playing surface is tested, dry quartz sand. The high quality of the facility permits a fast game which is valuable for pre-competition training.
